Plot

Willie, Deanne, Tippoo, Bic, Buck and Barney -- A loose knit bunch of young adults, individuals with diverse cultural and social backgrounds defined by more than branded trainers and hair gel; a 'pretend family' unit, complex and in flux, that seeks to carve out its own space: A future that is inclusive, not exclusive, in which to see the Millennium in on their own terms. This shared ambition takes shape in the form of The End of the Century Club, a weekly nightclub they haphazardly organize in the dis-used back room of a London pub.Bastard son of the American Underground and a tradition of British comics firmly anchored in the everyday, Ilya creates a world no less ruthless than our own, where it is necessary to fight for your place in the sun: And to fight all the harder not to gain your fortune from the bad luck of others.

A furious, rabble-rousing, hilarious and epic comic strip tale of bonding, bitching and bedlam, and an accurate and entertaining depiction of life on the edge in UK plc, as the Twentieth century gasps its last.
