On her way to a part-time job interview Akira Nitta is suddenly transported to a vast windowless room with 99 other girls wearing numbered gym uniforms. One by one, in numerical order, they are transported to the other side of a large tv screen on the wall, where they are helplessly and brutally slaughtered by monsters. Will Akira manage to escape this crazy death game?
La historia sigue a un grupo de 99 mujeres jóvenes que son secuestradas después de asistir a una entrevista de trabajo. Despiertan encerradas en una misteriosa habitación blanca vistiendo camisetas numeradas del 1 al 99. Rápidamente descubren que son forzadas a participar en un mortal juego de supervivencia de estilo RPG. Deben enfrentarse a criaturas monstruosas, y cuando una chica muere, la siguiente en la fila numérica toma su lugar.
