Gong Wei’s last memory before his death was being pinned under Xu Shuangce’s infamous blade: the sword named No Way Out. The sword should have annihilated even his soul—so when Gong Wei wakes sixteen years later in the body of a beautiful but witless young disciple, no one is more surprised than he. Gong Wei soon finds himself embroiled in a strange murder mystery, in which the killer seems to be impersonating none other than Gong Wei himself. But the closer he gets to the killer, the more questions arise about events since his death—and what really happened between himself and Xu Shuangce sixteen years ago.
