Octogenarian Kaichi Takemura is a master of aiki-jutsu, a martial art that specializes in redirecting physical force.
Alas, time soon catches up with the spry old man, as do the perils of an aging body. With a terminal cancer diagnosis and only two months left to live, Kaichi stares out from the hospital with nothing to do but wait for the end of an unfulfilling life... Until the moment he coughs, blinks, and finds himself transported across dimensions along with his resident nurse!
This strange new realm of vicious beasts, experience points, and "skills" is confusing at first, but as he soon finds his body regaining its strength... He realizes it might be just what the doctor ordered!
Thus begins Kaichi’s turbulent, monster-tossing, death-defying adventure in another world!
