Hace seis meses, Tony Stark, también conocido como Iron Lad, le envió a Peter Parker una araña radiactiva para que retomara su destino como Spider-Man. Desde entonces, Stark, el Capitán América, Doom, Thor y Sif han comenzado a hacer lo mismo conotros, construyendo una red de héroes con superpoderes hambrientos de cambio.
