Ultimate Spider-Man presenta una premisa muy potente y un equipo creativo de primer nivel. Aunque la ejecución narrativa puede resultar algo confusa en algunos momentos, la serie consigue destacar cuando se centra en la faceta más humana y familiar de Peter Parker. Una propuesta interesante dentro del nuevo universo Ultimate que deja buenas ideas, aunque también la sensación de que podría haber desarrollado mejor todo su potencial.

Aunque el final me deja un sabor agridulce (muchísimas tramas e ideas interesantes se quedan en un tintero lleno de posibilidades que quizás nunca se aprovechen), es innegable que ha sido una conclusión muy bonita y, de quedarse aquí, a pesar de lo dicho me siento satisfecho. Han sido 24 números cocinados a fuego lento, con una calidad absolutamente perfecta de principio a fin y que, durante dos años, han sido una dosis de alegría mensual. El dibujo de Checchetto es espectacular en literalmente cada viñeta, Messina también cumple (anillos mágicos aparte), y de Hickman qué decir. Siga o no siga la historia después del número 24, sólo puedo dar gracias a todos los implicados por la mejor serie de cómics de Spider-Man en no pocos años.
