ヴェール』は、読んでいる物語というより、見た夢のようであり、同じように余韻を残し、細部はぼやけているが、感情は確実に心に浮かんでくる。この2つのマンガは、2人の主人公の人生の小さな瞬間を表現するように構成されており、崇高なイラストがその間を遮り、回想のような感覚を与える。男は警察官、女は盲目、少なくとも目を開けることはない。名前、場所、時間は重要ではなく、各章を通して二人が親密になっていくのをただ楽しむだけである。
