Plot
Brown Watson published this short lived series of annuals published in 1973-1977 for 1974-1978. All strips were reprinted from American DC Comics starring Superman, Batman and Robin, the Boy Wonder, though the books also included a number of British originated text stories with some quite moody and evocative but sadly uncredited art (though at least some of the art was almost certainly by John Bolton, notably the Hawkman/Hawkgirl image shown here). There were also features including a superhero general knowledge quiz in the 1977 annual, notable for the artistic licence used on certain characters costumes in the illustrations. The same publisher had previously produced a single Batman & Robin Annual (without Superman) and a Superman Annual, both in 1973
