Cómics que adaptaban la serie radiofónica El monje loco (1937), que ya había sido llevada a la historieta previamente en dos ocasiones: en Chamaco a partir de 1940 y a mediados de 1967 en su cabecera propia aunque de forma muy breve por Editorial Contienente.

La colección comenzó acreditando el sello editor como "EDITORIAL TEMPORAE", a partir del número 22 como "EDITORIAL TEMPORAE, REVISTAS POPULARES" y a partir del número 50 y hasta el final "REVISTAS POPULARES, S.A.".
