Earth's newest heroes explode from the distant past when Doctor Zechariah Leight discovers a handful of mysterious crystals in a forgotten tomb. The crystals yield four elementally powered superbeings: the Xenobrood! But hostile forces are gunning for Leight, and his metahuman discoveries quickly get their baptism of fire as they burst upon the modern world
