Plot

The "Cataclysm" frees some of Gotham's most dangerous criminals in a stunning one-shot! When the quake hits, the lower levels of Blackgate Prison are flooded, and dozens of violent villains must be released from their cells to avoid certain death. Normally, this wouldn't pose too much of a problem, but the quake has formed a land bridge between Blackgate's island and the mainland. Can the Dark Knight keep these foes contained in the midst of the worst natural disaster in Gotham's history? "Cataclysm" continues in Batman Shadow of the Bat (1992) #74.
