Segundo arco de la colección y en general me ha satisfecho más que el anterior. Siempre me ha gustado (es la cuarta o quinta vez que la releo, primera en inglés) la transición de la historia de lo mundano (un ejecutor de mafiosos) a lo paranormal (un pacto con el demonio) a partir de un detalle tan simple como es la ausencia de sombra del villano. Especialmente me gustaría destacar el tercer capítulo, el que sucede en monasterio inundado, y que sigue pareciéndome bastante terrorífico. La historia solo decae en el último número, ya que el enfrentamiento físico entre Mr. Whisper y Batman no es lo más interesante de la misma y se antoja un final un poco atropellado. En cuanto al dibujo, conjuga perfectamente con la historia.
