I've been reading the issues related to the 'Tales of the Demon' saga, which introduces Ra's al Ghul, Talia, and the League of Assassins for the first time, and it is amazing. Batman is definitely back in action as a detective. In fact, in this second encounter, it seems that Ra's acts as a catalyst for Batman, pushing him to become a world-class investigator. Batman not only displays his brilliant detective skills but also takes swift action to avert a catastrophe. This issue implicitly defines Ra's mission by presenting a biological threat to the world.
