Muy en la linea de Brubaker, en el sentido en que si bien los orígenes del personaje vienen del universo Wildstorm, y por tanto, de los superhéroes, Brubaker hace suya suya la historia, la arma con sus ingredientes personales, de intriga, género noir, con espías de por medio. Fabricando una historia totalmente autoral e identificable de su autoría. Por suerte, nos sumerge fácilmente con el protagonista, y no hace falta un bagaje anterior para disfrutar o entender esta serie. Así que es fácilmente disfrutable aunque pases totalmente del universo Wildstorm.
