Tales of the Demon, Part 3: The Daughter of the Demon I absolutely loved this issue! The story wastes no time, starting with Batman meeting a whistleblower ready to betray Dr. Darrk, the leader of the League of Assassins introduced earlier in this saga. The tension builds perfectly as Batman follows Darrk into a lethal trap, a sequence that leads us straight into the heart of the League's operations. The highlight, of course, is the historic debut of Talia al Ghul. Seeing her for the first time—and witnessing the immediate chemistry and mystery she brings to Bruce’s world—is a fantastic experience. This issue is a masterclass by O'Neil and Adams in how to expand Batman's mythos beyond Gotham into a high-stakes, international thriller. A must-read for anyone following the origin of the Al Ghul dynasty!
