Man I love Matt Wagners work. His art is so simplified and clean, arch and bombastic. All my favorite words. The story is interesting and complex and it shows Bats in a human light which is nice, I’m thinking specifically of the small scene with Alfred, I don’t remember reading a scene that’s so human between the two of them, especially with bats saying thank you to him.
