Tomo entretenido pero sin la fuerza de los clásicos de la EC (terror/ciencia ficción). A pesar de todo, el formato de historias de 6-7 páginas le sienta bien, con unas tramas de periodistas que básicamente son "detectivescas". Además, me da la impresión de que el número de viñetas por página y la densidad de los textos es menor que en Weird, Crypt, Vault, etc. Por otro lado, me ha llamado la atención, que en oposición a lo que había leído hasta ahora de EC, en "Extra!" sí hay personajes recurrentes, aunque sus historias no continúan. Así, en cada número hay dos aventuras de Keith Michaels (periodista) y desde el tres una de Steve Rampart (fotógrafo) y una de Geri Hamilton (periodista). Mis historias favoritas son las de Rampart.
