Plot
Yu Takita was a pioneer in autobiographical manga. He published his work in literary magazines and manga anthologies like Garo, and received numerous awards. Among his best-known works is 'Terajima-cho' - the 'Terajima Neighborhood Mystery tales'- (1968), in which he chronicles the years 1930-1940, when his family ran a tavern in Tokyo.
