Plot

Collects Tale of the Body Thief (1999) #1-12. Based on the story by Anne Rice. Anne Rice and the Vampire Lestat return! Lestat hunts a serial killer, unaware that he is also being hunted - by a mysterious, awkward man who simply hands Lestat envelopes containing old horror stories, then runs away. Lestat, confronted by his own guilty conscience after killing an old woman he was bent on saving from the serial killer, travels to England to visit his old mortal friend, David Talbot - where Lestat reveals his plans to commit suicide. But things really turn upside down for the Brat Prince when his supernatural body is usurped and his soul is placed in the body of a mortal.
