Plot

"Where is Keiko?" What begins as a mild unease in the protagonist quickly escalates into a Nabokovian obsession. In his psychotic state, the Humbert Humbert of Bubblegum Geisha experiences her absence as extremely alarming. To find his darling, he goes to extremes and confronts his deepest fears. With obvious nods to Alice in Wonderland, Poor Things, Hokusai, Araki, and Lolita, the reader is taken on a hallucinatory roller coaster ride to all corners of the world. Bubblegum Geisha is an ode to the underground comic as we know it from Robert Crumb and Eric Schreurs, where nothing is held back. Associative, uncensored, erotic, perverse, rough, and blood-beautiful. Bubblegum Geisha is a tour de force, a kaleidoscopic Odyssey, boundless and unfettered, that will leave the reader stunned.
