xorn cuenta la historia de AoR que inició cuando doug se unió a la patrulla y aun no estaba loco. Necesitaba poder y quiso rescatar a cortez de la prision de la nueva shield, uso sus nuevos poderes para manipular a scott y tomar el control de las decisiones de la patrulla. En la incursión murió maria hill y magik aunque darkchild se apoderó del cuerpo, scott, jugger y xorn dimitieron y doug tomó el mando. A xorn no le afectan los poderes de doug. Surgió el virus-x en filadelfia como agente de terraformacion que mató millones de humanos y quienes no los transformaba en mutantes. Las ciudades eran inhabitables para humanos y doug con sus poderes aumentados por cortez transformó la ciudad a semejanza de krakoa y sus territorios se escindieron de USA. Se convirtió en tierra mutante y el gobierno mandó bombas que desvanecedor teleportó a whasington y la hizo desaparecer. Los territorios ocupan la costa este pero la patrulla ha descubierto sus mentiras y quieren traer al scott del presente
