La versión de Spirit de Darwyn Cooke es un homenaje inteligente y respetuoso al trabajo original de Will Eisner. Cooke no se limita a imitar el estilo clásico, sino que lo filtra a través de una sensibilidad moderna: ritmo ágil, diálogos afilados y una narrativa visual muy cinematográfica.
