This set consist of a 96-page Player's Book, a 64-page Judge's Book, a 22-1/2 by 33-inch full color, twosided map, over 40 Character Cards, 80 Stand-Up Adventure Counters and two-sided dice. The Marvel Super Heroes Advanced Set may be played by itself, but it is designed to expand the existing Marvel Super Heroes Game
Plot
It began with Marvel Super Heroes, the role-playing game that let you join the adventures of Spider-Man, Captain America, and the Uncanny X-Men.
Now the adventure continues with the Marvel Super Heroes Advanced set, whcih expands the oundaries of the original game and reaches new levels of comic-book action and adventure!

Tal como el set básico, el juego pierde muchas oportunidades de reflejar la enormidad del universo Marvel, aunque al menos en este caso es mucho más jugable y mejor descrito. La parte de fichas contiene breves pero bien captadas descripciones de los héroes y villanos de la editorial y los dibujos originales de Butler en portada son muy buenos.
