In summer 2016, a new exhibit on del Toro's work will begin at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, focusing on the recurring themes in his films, the journals in which he logs his ideas, and his vast collection of art and pop culture ephemera. This is the companion book, filled with imagery from the exhibit and delving further into the director's world through exclusive in-depth interviews and commentary from notable figures in the art world.
