Gosh! makes its return to publishing with How Long Have I Been Lying Here?: A Collection of Comics by Luke Pearson. We’re so excited to finally reprint Luke’s long unavailable comics! Luke Pearson, best known as the creator of the incredible children’s graphic novels, Hilda, and its Netflix adaptation, has personally curated this selection of short comics and pinups, originally appearing in numerous small press publications. The 60 page book explores a side of Luke’s work that might be unfamiliar to Hilda fans, featuring short stories previously published in anthologies like Kuš and Solipsistic Pop. As well as these strips, there is a stunning gallery section included, showcasing Luke’s artistic chops. Here’s how Luke describes the collection:

"These comics represent a relatively brief window of time, between 2010 and 2015, in which I was semi-regularly making work for comics anthologies. I would describe these as me trying out different voices, some of them perhaps trying to be something I’m not. Some of them I feel proud of, some of them make me cringe, some of them make me scratch my head and wonder if I still have any of that in me. I hope you find something you like in them."
