“Fracasé” esto fue lo que dijo Mark Waid en la introducción hecha por el propio para la edición 25 aniversario de The kingdom la “secuela” de uno de los mejores comics de la historia, y tiene razón Waid, esta secuela es lenta y aburrida y cuenta historias paralelas que nadie pidió y que fueron rápidamente olvidadas, quiero decir si Waid pensó que traernos números de Ibn, Nightstar, Kid Flash y Offspring como una especia de titanes de Kingdom come pues se equivoca, porque fueron unos números más aburridos y tediosos de leer, peor aún el tie in de Planet Krypton el más nefasto, dejando de lado si tomamos el tie in de Gog y las dos partes de The Kingdom pues en cierta manera son números entretenidos, aunque si se siente la falta de Alex Ross, pero se deja leer al menos.
