Plot

ACG Comics reprints the classic adventures of Herbie, the American Comics Group super-hero parody, featuring a rotund, lackadaisical, lollipop-sucking nerd boy who is inexplicably all-powerful. In these tales, Herbie dons a costume to become the Fat Fury, but it does not change his powers or behavior in any way. Foiled by the Fat Fury one too many times, Question Mark locates the source of Herbies powers, then unleashes a robot, the Phony Phat Phury, to frame the Fat Fury. A skinny fan wants to be just like Herbie. President Johnson seeks Herbies help to rescue the Statue of Liberty from the sinister Mr. Horrible. Reprints Fat Fury stories from Herbie #8, 13, and 18.
