Plot

Katsuomi Hanamori and Tsurugi Yaegashi are rivals in kendo, the Japanese sport of swordsmanship. Their competitive egos and contracting fighting styles clash, and yet Katsuomi gradually finds himself attracted to the graceful and keen Tsurugi. At first, Katsuomi hesitated pursuing his desire, fearing that his feelings may blunt his kendo skills against Tsurugi in competition. However, during the night of the summer festival, he eventually gives in to his overwhelming love for him. Torn between reciprocation of Katsuomi's love and maintaining his pride as a competitive rival, Tsurugi rejects Katsuomi's advances. But when his timid younger brother, Saya, shows that he has a crush in Katsuomi, Tsurugi realizes that he must finally make a decision.
