Kang busca el "momento perdido", pero para eso debe superar los eventos de tribulación. Aunque solo pueden lograrlo los héroes. En eso, es confrontado por Myrddin, quien le dice que el momento perdido no está destinado a ser encontrado por él, sino por héroes como su Twilight Court. Kang viaja por el tiempo al momento de estos eventos, pero se debe enfrentar a los miembros del grupo. Finalmente Myrddin lo deja malherido y Kang escapa a un lugar en el no-tiempo. Necesita héroes para llevar a cabo su plan. Mientras Myrddin, ya lo ha derrotado y le quedan 4 más (entre ellos Dr. Doom y Ultron)
