Chapter One found the MIGHTY AVENGERS assembled in Beijing for a celebratory opening ceremony but when they were called away to a nearby emergency their resolve was soon tested by Baron Mordo and the fearsome Fin-Fang-Foom. Mordo sought to open an extra-dimensional portal to reign horror upon the Earth. But he knew he couldn’t take on the Avengers alone. To weaken the Avengers he used a powerful spell to amplify their FEARS, ANXIETIES and SELF DOUBTS... making them fear that defeating Baron Mordo would be IMPOSSIBLE. The battle was fierce and the Avengers relied on their inner strength to CLEAR away the fear, anxiety and doubt. They found new resolve in the support of each other and from the support of the people who helped them along their paths to becoming heroes. With Baron Mordo soon defeated and his evil plan stopped, the day was saved... Or was it?
