Plot

A fantasy story by Moon Knight creator Doug Moench that originally appeared in Epic Illustrated #33. After the death of artist Gene Day, who helped lay out the story for Epic, his brother Dan reprinted it here with six additional pages not included in the original printing. A champion sets out to rescue a maiden from her tower prison, but first he must battle the wizard who captured her. In the backup story, a man inherits a legacy: Hawkman-like wings that really work.
