Danni has always survived on her wits and ability to read a situation. She also has a gambling problem. After one too many losses she ends up in debt to the one man you never want to owe - Charles Heart - a London crime boss as vicious as he is conniving.

Charles has a problem. A gang of robbers hitting his operation hard and often. A link from Danni's past is the only opening he has, and he's going to use it for all it's worth. To ensure Danni plays ball Charles takes a little extra insurance in the form of Danni's girlfriend, Em.

With time running out, Danni must choose between sacrificing a love from her past or losing her current one, unless she can find a third way...
