Plot

Alita's second chance at life is a struggle just to survive each day, and leads her on a series of emotional battles. She gains and loses friends to the cruel world of the Scrapyard far below the Utopian city of Tiphares. Kishiro blurs the lines between flesh and machine, challenging the reader, with philosophical, historical and cultural references, to question what it means to be human.
