It provides the early history of the prominent character, Morpheus.This story is part of the Matrix Comics Series 3 and was printed as a limited edition of only 15,000 that were given at the 2003 San Diego Comic Con and also for pre-orders of the first volume in which it was also printed. The Miller's Tale tells the story of one early Zion inhabitant that learned to cultivate grains for the city in a very risky venture. One of the characters in the story is a very young boy named Morpheus. Morpheus was freed young from the Matrix and dwelt in Zion.
