About this edition
B&W. Cover price $2.95.
Plot
Cover by Jack Kirby and Joe Sinnott. Reprints of one of the few super-heroes from legendary early independent comics publisher ACG. The immortal son of the wizard Cagliostro, Magicman assumes a secret identity in the present day. He joins the Army to fight in Vietnam as PFC Tom Cargill, while he attempts to solve a string of murders as Magicman. The cover is a real curiosity: originally a Stuntman pinup (from the 1979 Kirby Masterworks portfolio), it was licensed and re-inked by longtime FF inker Joe Sinnott to portray Magicman. It was later reused on ACGs Heroes anthology. Contains Magicman reprints from Forbidden Worlds #125 and 127. Magicman!; The Case of the Young Old Men.
