In the year 2099, comic books cost $2099 and crime is out of control. Jerk Bellows, the Pummeler 2099, enlists other superheroes to join him for dramatic poses, origin flashbacks, and also fighting crime if they get around to it. The first part of the mega-crossover Spirits of Whispers of the Dark Mini-Series of Vengeance. Followed by Rummage $2099.
