I'm really glad I read this when I did. For no specific reason, I was going to grab another book that I had on my mind and figured I'd start reading that one but then glanced at this one and just picked it up. I'm very happy I read it to finally check it off my list but also to finally be able to get the story in its intended format. Overall, it was really good and I really wish I hadn't seen the movie before I read this because knowing what happens kind of ruins the tension and build up. But I don't think it takes away from the overall story and tone of the book.
