A real curiosity, combining an environmental cautionary tale with a tribute to Golden Age superheroes, written by two well-known sci-fi actors and drawn by Marvel's Steve Leialoha. After his owners are murdered by corporate thugs, Trypto gains superpowers from toxic waste (as one does) and sets out for revenge. Trypto's first adventure, but not his last; he returned in A1 (1989 Atomeka) #5 and Dark Horse Presents (1986) #113.
