Plot

Alexander Duarte, an Earth scientist is kidnapped and transported to the Braxis sphere – a formerly peaceful confederation of alien worlds that has grown restless and corrupt. There, he is re-configured (via genetic engineering) to serve as a living weapon. Forced to lead a Q-Unit a team of political prisoners turned mercenaries, gathered from the galaxy’s various races – Duarte must fight or die, compelled by his new government…and the explosive charge implanted in his brain!
