En 2011, Marvel se hizo con los derechos de la extinta CrossGen con idea de explotar todo ese universo fantastico del que hizo gala CrossGen en su creación, llevando a cabo un reinicio en toda regla de algunas de las series clave de aquella primera época. Sigil fue una de las primeras series de este reinicio en salir, y si bien no puedo comparar directamente con su antecesora ya que aun no la he leído, los conceptos futuristas de aquella dejan paso a una fantasía adolescente mezclada con historias de piratas, que si bien es entretenida, baja mucho el listón respecto a aquella primera hornada de títulos como Scion, Mystic o Meridian donde presentaban un mundo más completo, con unos personajes mas definidos y trabajados. Este reinicio fueron miniseries autoconclusivas con la idea de picar a nuevos lectores y atraer a los nostalgicos de la primera época, pero con lo descafeinado de la propuesta, se quedaron a medio gas..
