Chris and Bobby Crosby love comics. That much is clear from their self-published titles, including Snap the Punk Turtle, Billy Chronicles, and now the SCC Convention Special. These two southern Californians began their publishing career with a photocopied comic (Gizmo the Wonder Dog Special #1) distributed from their parents’ video store. From those humble beginnings, they’ve gone on to produce a number of fun and enjoyable comics under the banner “Super Crew Comics.”

The SCC Convention Special takes the Super Crew characters to the big comic convention in Super City. There they run into mutated versions of comic book super-stars Todd McFarlane (Spawn), Rob Liefeld (Youngblood), and even Marvel Comics great Stan Lee. Of course, there’s the usual goofiness and mayhem—all done in the lighthearted SCC style.
