Triplicity embodies this story. Wagner, as a complete artist, develops an everlasting tale about The Holy Three™ in their well-known Trinity Locations and dealing with a Triple Threat: some respective foes (to them all). Taking heed of the aforementioned, you might think about kind of a fan-serviced argument. Same regarding the pencilling. But Matt's recognised mastery serves a solid narration instead (both, diegesis and drawings). Here, the Grendel creator offers a plot involving this Champions alliance and a global terrorist menace. And the 3-part miniseries collected proves that a retcon-esque, "Year One"-like, good written and illustrated original adventure is possible. These pictures ooze a Noir mood that is so appealing and his interesting composition work makes the final output flawless. Add another point-scoring act with Stewart's wonderful colour palette. Also loved the meaningful prologue by Meltzer. Clearly, an essential DX edition for those who love DC books. #LegenD©ary3️⃣
