Plot

Sinister returns in an adventure tied directly into the ongoing Cable series (and "End Times")! Cable--whom he bred to be the ultimate mutant--is never very far from the sight of Sinister. But the mad genius engineered his birth for a specific purpose--to destroy Apocalypse! Now the man once known as Nathaniel Essex has returned to offer the Askani'son what may be his only chance to beat Apocalypse. The terrible questions are: how can Cable defeat his arch-nemesis now that his powers are almost gone; just what will he have to give up to achieve his ultimate goal; and is even the demise of Apocalypse worth the price?
