The Monster University Cheerbook

Plot

In 2005, Mike Hoffman launched monster-university.com as a homage to the 1950s and 60s, when “Monster Mania” was at a fevered pitch and one could easily find novelty records purportedly sung by such creatures as Dracula or Frankenstein’s Monster. Since its inception, Hoffman’s website has released two record albums: Monster University and Monster University Touchdown. The Monster University Cheerbook comic actually serves as a lyric sheet to the latter album, containing the words to all 13 songs on that album, including tracks like “Vampires are Forever” and “Mars Needs Women.” Monster University art accompanies each page of lyrics, making this comic a cool addition to the collection of any Monster U. fan… it sure beats a tiny CD insert, anyway.
