Pantha: Haunted Passion

Plot

This “Retro Series” from Harris Comics reprints stories of Vampirella cast member Pantha, the cat-woman, from her black-and-white days at Warren Publishing. A typical tale involves a naked, disoriented young woman waking up from a dream in which she turned into a ferocious panther, finding a mauled body in the room with her, putting two and two together, finding some clothes, and running away. The emphasis here is, obviously, on good-girl art, but Pantha: Haunted Passion is a pleasant enough trip back in time.
