One of the many martial-arts funny-animal comics that appeared in the wake of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles success, and nearly broke the comics industry. The Mildly Microwaved Pre-Pubescent Kung-Fu Gophers are created in a microwave oven explosion and taught martial arts by Kung Fu TV star David Carradine (or a reasonable facsimile). Featuring a cover by Phil Foglio, and the first published work by future superstar artist Jill Thompson of Sandman and Scary Godmother fame (although she may not want to admit that).
