A minotaurish former Chicago cop goes freelance to investigate a mystery. Bill and his partner Nick are hired to find a missing millionaire, a search that leads them to some very dark places in the homes of both the rich and poor. Includes a eulogy for publisher Hart Fishers murdered girlfriend Michelle Davis.
