Plot
A collection of horror tales by Belgian artist Hermann, creator of Jeremiah and The Towers of Bois-Maury. The artist, acclaimed in Europe, has had very little of his work translated into English. These four tales, some of which previously appeared in Heavy Metal and other magazines in the 1970s and 80s, are atypical of his work, which is typically epic-length, naturalistic drama. But they obviously struck a chord with American editors and readers; the lead story is based on the Manson family killings, and they serve as an introduction to one of the leading lights of European comics.
