Los tres números de "The Couriers" tienen guiones muy sencillos a partir de una premisa simple para ofrecer dinámicas y entretenidas ensaladas de tiros, persecuciones y otros elementos clásicos del cómic/cine de acción. Curiosamente, con más trama y menos acción, la historia más elaborada de todas es el cuarto número incluido, "Couscous Express", que es un one-shot predecesor de la serie. Este contiene la primera aparición de los personajes principales, pero no la primera historia cronológica ya que el "origen" se cuenta en The Couriers #3.
