Plot

Como en la mayoría de obras de Spurrier, la atención se centra en el drama, pero el relato se presenta con numerosas aristas y giros, una trama más compleja de lo que aparenta, y una serie de revelaciones finales que elevan la tensión emocional. Todo ello pese a que la historia se desenvuelva rodeada de tiros, explosiones y mujeres destruyéndose a mamporros dentro de exoesqueletos y cuerpos mutantes pseudoorgánicos, mientras el color de Felipe Sobreiro se une a una fiesta de acción alternada con durísimos flashbacks. Ciertamente, Motherlands hace honor a su título y nos plantea un drama fantacientífico sobre la complejidad de las relaciones con nuestros progenitores cuando son ellos y ellas quienes fallan en su labor y cargan la responsabilidad en sus hijos e hijas.
